01

Symphonic & Orchestral

Symphonic and Orchestral recordings are captured using condenser microphones in an XY stereo pair in the concert hall. Two additional microphones in front of the stage also are placed to capture softer and more delicate instruments to ensure nothing in your recording is lost.

Album Production

Album production is a process near and dear to my heart. I have fully written and produced nearly 5 of my own records and have been the leading recording engineer for them all as well. You can check out our music on Spotify to get an idea of my work.

(tracks mixed by Dustin Painter and mastered by Sam Moses)

Astralace's "Teeth" is a minimalist pop group I had the pleasure of mixing with for this debut EP. I do not traditionally get the opportunity to act as mixing engineer for records as I usually just handle the recording but I had a blast with this one!

Live Performances

Recording your live performances can ensure that all of your hard work practicing are not solely left to memory or cell phone videos. The samples below range from live recordings of my band Oh, Hooray as well as audio captured at a drumline competition held in Katy, Texas.
